For Wedding Events

NewLife Church’s mission is to embrace each person with the life changing grace & truth of Jesus. The purpose of our building is to glorify God. All events in our facility should be conducted in a manner that agrees with our mission statement. All organizations or people sponsoring an event in our facility should be in one accord with NewLife Church’s mission.

It is our belief that marriage is the union between one man and one woman as established through biblical principles which promotes a sense of family through generations to come. Our church pastors and community of believers are interested in your wedding because we believe that Christian wedding is a covenant in which the Bride and Groom not only declare their love for one another but affirm their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives, in their marriage and their future.

Pre-marital counseling and mentoring is required for both the bride and groom with a Senior Pastor. Should you not complete the counseling requirements above, we reserve the right to cancel your ceremony and retain your deposit.

A NewLife Church partner may not schedule a wedding more than 13 months in advance of the date requested. Non-partners can schedule a wedding no sooner than 10 months in advance of the wedding date requested.

Saturday wedding cannot begin after 2:00 p.m. if a reception is to be held at the church. If the reception is to be held at a different location, a wedding cannot begin later than 4:00 p.m. Exceptions to this policy will be considered at the discretion of the Senior Pastor and Elders as needed. An evening wedding may be scheduled on a Friday evening only.

There will be NO smoking or vaping in or near the building. There will be NO use of alcoholic beverages or other drugs in the building or anywhere on the NewLife premises. Any violation will forfeit your full security deposit and/or perpetrator will be asked to leave the premises. It is the responsibility of the Bride & Groom to convey these terms to their family and wedding party.

Decorations are solely the responsibility of the Bride & Groom to suit your particular ceremony. Please keep in mind the sacredness of your wedding ceremony when choosing decorations. Also be aware that certain elements of the Worship Center and stage are fixed and will need to be worked around. Any alterations made to the Worship Center must be approved and returned to its original state following the ceremony. If the flower girl will be dropping flower petals we require an aisle runner be utilized to prevent damage to the carpet. Music should be suitable for a God-honoring ceremony and must be approved by a Senior Pastor. This also applies to the background music and songs performed before/during/after the ceremony.

NewLife Church has 400+ Worship Center chairs, 300 banquet chairs, several 60 inch round tables, and ten 6 foot rectangle tables available for a reception.

Decorating the church will be limited to tables and stage area. No wall or ceiling decorations will be allowed. Decorations will need to be approved by the Wedding Coordinator no later than one month before the event. Nails, tacks, and adhesives that could damage the facility are prohibited. Dripless candles are recommended and all candles MUST be enclosed in a hurricane or otherwise. All decorations must be removed from the building at the end of your event.

Dressing room accommodations will be provided for the wedding party including: full length mirror, chairs for bridal party, privacy screen, etc.

If choose to have a cake reception or dinner buffet in the facility, coordination with the Wedding Coordinator must be made three (3) months prior to the event with final details no later than one (1) month prior to the event. If using the Worship Center for both events, you will need to provide people to change the room over.

Our kitchen is a warming kitchen only. No cooking or grilling will be allowed. Only the preparation of cold foods and warm up of pre-cooked hot foods can be accommodated. Kitchen rental by party/caterer may include the use of the following; Coffee pots, coffee urns, refrigerator, freezer, stoves/oven, and microwave oven (for warming only). Coffee/tea with condiments will be the responsibility of the Bride & Groom. We request only light-colored beverages (punch) be served on the premises during events with the exception of coffee and tea (no red or blue dye please). Consumable items such as napkins, paper plates, cups, etc are the responsibility of the Bride & Groom.

No rice or confetti can be used in/outside the building. Bird seed, flower petals or bubbles are acceptable outside of the building. We ask that these items be distributed to your guests outside of the building.

When decorating vehicles for after the ceremony, nothing vulgar or in poor taste will be permitted and may be requested to be removed.

Bride & Groom are ultimately responsible for all damages to the property and equipment of NewLife Church and agree to pay reasonable costs of repair and replacement of the same. We ask that the building be left in the same condition after use as before and all personal items be removed from the facility.

Precautions should be taken to prevent the loss or theft of articles belonging to members and guests of the wedding party. The church does NOT assume responsibility if a loss or theft occurs.

If in the event your ceremony must be cancelled, a full refund will be granted if cancellation is made three (3) months prior to the event. Anything later will require a $200 cancellation fee. Exceptions to this policy may be made by the senior Pastor and Elders. Deposits will be returned within two (2) weeks of notification.

The NewLife Church Wedding Coordinator or staff must be on the premises for every event, including rehearsal, wedding and reception. Only a member of the NewLife Church production team may be used for audio/visual support. Any Pastor not from NewLife Church must be approved by a NewLife senior Pastor &/or Elders. NewLife Church reserves the right to refuse rental to anyone.

Please complete and return the included Building Use Request Form for Weddings in full to the Office Administrator for processing. Upon approval applicants may be notified by email, phone, text or in person by a NewLife Wedding Coordinator.
